Open & Keeping You Safe During COVID-19
Given the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, the Florida Department of Health, and recommendations from the American Psychological Association, I am making a few relevant changes to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our local community. I believe that it is important that we stay united and reduce the impact of this virus together.
For your protection, please note these relevant changes:
- Telephone and video therapy appointments are available for new and returning clients. When you schedule an appointment, I’ll be in touch with you regarding further instructions for our appointment. I use the HIPAA secure version of Google Meet as my virtual counseling platform.
- Office appointments are available for returning clients on a case-by-case basis. When you schedule an appointment, I’ll be in touch with you regarding further instructions for our appointment. Clients must wear a mask in the office and sign the “Informed Consent for In-Person Services During COVID-19 Public Health Crisis” document.
- Increased availability between sessions for brief emails and phone calls. Given the uncertain nature of the season we are in, you are welcome to reach out to me between sessions for additional support where needed.
- Flexible Cancelation Policy & Improved Appointment Flexibility. If you or a family member are not feeling well, I ask that you do your best to cancel appointments with 24 hours’ notice when possible. In addition, you always have the ability to reschedule or cancel your appointment using my website.
I am accepting new clients at this time. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Daniel Baughn, Ph.D.
